After much agonizing, planning and installation time,
the craftroom is finally taking shape. The cabinets were installed
around Christmas 2001 and were subsequently filled with lots of craft
stuff.
The angled wall in the room is now home to the
entertainment center piece, flanked by tall cabinets with thick, seeded
glass. Two more tall cabinets and open shelves finish off this
section.
The laminate countertop provides a place to
spread out and work, while the open bookcases on the ends are good for
display items and easy access to books and magazines. In the
center, more shelves behind closed doors.
Below the countertop are three deep
cabinets with drawers at the top. We opted for a natural finish on
the maple and it sure kept the room bright. Good choice.
We opted for pull-out drawers for easy
access. As you can see, it's already getting pretty full.
It's nice to have this organized, now it's time to make something...
